“Christian Life Coaching is the art and practice of guiding a person from where they are toward the discovery of God’s vision for their life, and helping them learn to live accordingly. It is the collaborative process of determining direction and designing strategies to creatively move toward a passionately desired destination."

Plan what your vision could look like with direction from other disciples

As we rely upon and submit to God’s Spirit to mark out the pathway toward the kingdom dreams He has given us in community, He invites us to engage our transformed minds (Romans 12:2) to both strategize how we can move forward by faith and count the cost of that movement. God wants us to be full-fledged partners in His great expedition, contributing our best creative ideas toward His kingdom purposes. He desires this especially in conjunction with other like-minded disciples who craft fresh and brilliant ways to facilitate the dreams He has given us while welcoming His sovereign interruptions along the way.
We are wonderfully free to concoct ideas that find expression in and beyond ‘church roles’ extending the knowledge of Him into every niche of society. We are liberated to do so, secure in Him, knowing that to wisely risk is to live well in the kingdom of our Lord! We can do so in every area of life importance, along with how each will be measured for progress as stewards of all He has given us (gifts, relationships, time money and energies) accountable to invest all of them well (Matthew 25: 14-30). We will better be able to sort through the competing demands and opportunities in our life, measuring their value according to the greater awareness of what he has called us to.

Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails. Proverbs 19:21
But the noble man makes plans, and by noble deeds he stands. Isaiah 32.8
“The only really happy people are those who have learned how to serve.” – Albert Schweitzer

Are you aware of the things that must captivate your time and energies flowing out of your redeemed story and relationship with your Lord? If so, do you have strategic plans for how you will pursue them with His guidance and strength? Do those crucial things have time to be important without competition from the superficial?
