“Christian Life Coaching is the art and practice of guiding a person from where they are toward the discovery of God’s vision for their life, and helping them learn to live accordingly. It is the collaborative process of determining direction and designing strategies to creatively move toward a passionately desired destination."

Meet Jim

My Compelling Vision is for all people to bring God pleasure by discovering their divine design and living out their divinely-appointed calling, in a manner that reflects a passionate commitment to, connection with, and contribution toward the beauty and effectiveness of the Body of Christ as they reveal Him where they live, work, learn and play.

As I grew in my own relationship with Christ, so did my hunger to discover,  ‘Who am I? What makes me unique? What am I motivated to be and do? Where will I find the courage to move toward the answers to these questions, once found?' And the ultimate question we all must ask, 'How does being in relationship with God effect how I answer these questions?'

For many years I sought answers by means of my own efforts, using my own resources and ingenuity resulting in many foolish, selfish, sinful choices that hurt others and myself. Yet, God showed himself active and alive in the midst of it all, waiting for me to tire of my own devices, ready and willing to meet me when I became broken.

I am learning that my longed-for destiny is not to be found through my accomplishments, driven as they often are by comparison and competition with others. Instead, my long journey is teaching me that the One who saved me so long ago is also Who and What I desire most. And as I find my satisfaction in Jesus Christ, I am discovering that he freely presents me with the answers to those secondary questions I have so long sought.

The difference is that now I don't need to find my own answers, rather, as I seek Him as my destiny in all his beauty and worth, he reveals the wonder of his handiwork in me.

He knows that now, in a new if incomplete way, my desire is for Him and not for what He can help me make my life become. I have a new ability to wait for His guidance and provision, even as the path takes any number of unexpected, and painful, turns. I have Him, and I will seek Him all the more and will trust that He will do justice to His promises of making good flow from my life.

On this journey, God has used various roles and experiences to ready and equip me to be a good guide for others as they journey toward Him.

Jim’s Journey

Jim has been married to Regina for 39 years and is father to Rachel and Benjamin, father-in-law to Nick, and Papa to Alana and Lydia. Learning to serve, enjoy and benefit from their distinctiveness has taught him more about the creatively-loving handiwork of God than any other experience.

Apart from my wife Regina’s solid, consistent, steadying, truth-telling support I do not know where I would be today! We have been married 39 years and through the good, the bad, and the ugly, she has stayed firm in her trust in Christ, her identity in Him, and her faithfulness to me. Looking back with this perspective, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God knew I needed her for all He had in mind for us together. She deserves- and will one day receive- the thanks and appreciation from our Lord and everyone who our lives touched. – Jim Case, Husband

Jim's vision (at top of page) is being lived out in the following Mission statements:

*To help offer my Lord Jesus the reward of His suffering by working to bring about the answer to His request of His Father in John 17:20-23

“I pray for these disciples You have given me and also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them will be one Father, just as You are in me and I am in You. May they also be in Us so that the world may believe that You sent me. I have given them the glory that You gave me, that they may be one as We are one: I in them and You in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that You sent me and have loved them even as You have loved me. “
*To invite, encourage and challenge true Christ-followers to submit their own denominational, church and personal agendas to the greater task of a humble unity that would connect disciples where they live, work, learn and play and saturate their city, region and state with the Gospel.

*To partner with like-minded organizations such as Christ Together, https://christtogether.org,
CommunityIMPACT, Inc https://www.communityimpact.net
and TMC Multiply, to relationaly connect pastors and leaders to shift toward Jesus’ Kingdom expansion vs. merely church or denominational growth. This work has been especially localized in Jim's resident city- Appleton, WI- where various churches and believers from different traditions are learning to trust each other and partner together to love those in the neighborhood we share.

*To additionally partner with like-minded community organizations and associations like Stronger Together-Fox Valley
http://www.wisconsinpartners.org/stronger-together-fox-valley
,
Neighborhood Partners, https://www.goodwillncw.org/programs/family/neighborhood-partners/
and Erb Park Neighborhood Association (1,200+ household neighborhood which Jim organized and leads), developing relationships with regional, city and neighborhood individuals so that the Body of Christ may step into and serve together alongside them in neighborhoods and places of influence throughout the community.
